I’m Gareth James, an experienced freelance SEO who offers services from the UK and Southeast Asia, working with clients worldwide.
My professional journey in SEO and digital marketing began in 2008, but I have been running websites dates back to 2001, before Google even existed!
I manage my clients remotely while also overseeing a select portfolio of my own websites. Although I once managed over 30 affiliate sites, I now concentrate on five key projects.
Before venturing into digital marketing, I had a diverse career as a professional buyer for Japanese heavy industry and high-street fashion brands.
I specialize in link building, utilizing only white-hat techniques to ensure sustainable and ethical growth. My primary areas of focus are the travel and finance sectors, though I have worked in most verticals over the years. I have worked with some of the UK’s most prominent travel and comparison websites, acquiring significant volumes of high-quality backlinks.
Education-wise, I hold a BA (Hons) in Business Studies (Marketing) from London Metropolitan University, where I graduated in 1994. This academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping my approach to marketing and business strategy.
Client satisfaction and retention are paramount to me. I am proud to have retained my first client, who signed up in 2008, and continue to build long-lasting relationships.
